Dr. Khongor gave a presentation at the Japanese Sciety of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery

Dr. Khongor Gambold, a pediatric cardiologist at the National Maternal and Child Health Center of Mongolia, where the Heart Saving Project is active in Mongolia, gave a presentation entitled “The Results of Percutaneous Transcatheter Pulmonary Nalvuloplasty for Isolated Pulmonary Stenosis in Mongolian Children” on Saturday, July 13, the third day of the 60th Japanese Society of Pediatric Cardiology held in Fukuoka Prefecture in July 2024.
Prior to this, preparations had been made several times since around May through ZOOM meetings and email exchanges with Dr. Hidetoshi Tomita ;Heart Saving Project’s President, and Dr. Takashi Higaki;Heart Savig Project’s Vice President .
Dr. Khongor arrived in Japan on Monday, July 7th, and then toured the cardiac catheterization room and received guidance from Professor Higaki at the Cardiovascular Disease Center of Ehime University Hospital in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture. After that, I arrived in Fukuoka on the 10th, and listened to many presentations on the 11th and 12th.At the venue, he received guidance from doctors who are members of the Heart Saving Project. On the 13th, he made a presentation with the above title at the 8th venue from 10:30 am. After that, He returned to Tokyo from Fukuoka and returned to Mogolia on the 16th (Tuesday).
Dr. HKhongor commented that this was his first time abroad and his first time in Japan, and he was able to receive a lot of guidance and advice from the tdoctors who are members of the Heart Saving Project, and he was very impressed.
